Job summary

American Golf Corporation is seeking a Private Event Sales Coordinator to help plan, promote, and execute private events at the home course. You will partner with clients to understand needs and ensure excellent event delivery under the direction of the Director of Events.

The role requires strong administrative skills, customer service orientation, and hands-on experience with event logistics, BEOs, and deposits. Evening/weekend availability is common.

Qualifications

• Prior administrative and/or sales experience preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation with guest satisfaction focus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Basic math skills for calculating figures and percentages.
• Social media literacy, including familiarity with platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Effective communication with clients, colleagues, and management.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Warmly acknowledge, greet, and thank all members and guests.
• Draft, revise, and distribute event agreements and banquet event orders (BEOs).
• Process deposits and payments.
• Support marketing and sales by maintaining contact database, responding to leads, scheduling site tours, and assisting with outreach.
• Coordinate event logistics with internal departments to ensure course readiness.
• Monitor food and beverage operations to maintain high service standards during events.
• Build relationships with event hosts, address questions, resolve concerns, attend events, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Escalate grievances to Director of Event Sales or Event Manager and perform additional duties as assigned.
