Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) Tactical Value team is seeking an Acquisitions Associate for the 2027 program in New York. You will work with senior investors across the investment lifecycle and assist in sourcing, diligence, and value-creation opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of prior experience in investment banking or private equity.
• Background in M&A, industry coverage, or capital markets preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with senior investors throughout the investment lifecycle, including evaluating investment opportunities
• Conduct in-depth sector analysis and research on macro themes, investment ideas, and target assets
• Build financial models for company projections and transaction scenarios
• Produce investment memoranda and support materials on investment opportunities
• Coordinate with advisors and consultants on due diligence items
• Monitor portfolio company performance and interface with management teams
