Job summary

North is hiring its first Director of Partnerships, Private Equity to build North's private equity partnership channel from the ground up. This 0→1 role will develop relationships with private equity firms and their operating teams, positioning North as a strategic cloud optimization partner across their portfolios.

These relationships will create introductions to portfolio companies, generate partner‑sourced pipeline, and develop repeatable programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in strategic partnerships or related revenue role.
• Experience with private equity firms, PE operating teams, or backed portfolio companies.
• Strong network among operating partners or portfolio executives.
• Track record turning relationships into sourced pipeline and revenue.
• Experience building a partnership motion from scratch.
• Ability to engage executive, financial, and technical stakeholders.
• Based in the New York City Metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

• Own the private equity partnership strategy and execute the plan.
• Build trusted relationships with PE firms and portfolio operations teams.
• Develop portfolio-wide programs and repeatable partnership motions.
• Turn relationships into revenue with sales and joint go-to-market.
• Build the channel from scratch with messaging, mapping, and enablement.
• Operate the program with reviews, pipeline tracking, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Marketing on events and PE-focused campaigns.
• Represent North at market events to generate pipeline.
