North Cloud is hiring the first member of our finance team. This Director‑level role reports to the CEO and partners with the Chief of Staff to shape finances and strategy. You’ll own close, controls, model, and the financial narrative for a fast‑growing cloud fintech business.

You’ll be a hands‑on operator, leading a function that starts as a solo effort with growth potential, and you’ll directly influence board reporting and investor materials.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of finance experience in a VC-backed startup, ideally SaaS.
• Built a finance function from scratch: close process, model, board reporting.
• Strong SaaS metrics and pricing understanding; clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Own pricing, margins, CAC/LTV, and strategic guidance for the business.
• Stand up monthly close, controls, and finance tooling for the stage.
• Partner with CEO/Board on forecasts, budgets and financial narrative.
• Manage cash, AP/AR, payroll; run day-to-day finance operations.
• Build scalable processes and reporting for future growth.
