Job summary

LS Solutions seeks a Director, Private Equity IT M&A – Due Diligence and Value Creation to lead technology-focused initiatives across PE deals in the United States. You will manage rapid IT due diligence, develop post-close value creation roadmaps, drive platform modernization, and guide IT integration and carve-out programs with strong governance.

This role requires extensive PE experience, leadership, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology roles within PE-backed or high-growth tech environments, with consulting valued.
• MBA or BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Finance.
• Proven success leading high-impact IT projects using AI-enabled tools in fast-paced PE settings.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise IT ecosystems, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and AI/ML considerations.
• Strong relationship-building with PE deal teams and operating partners; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Engage in strategic discussions with PE deal teams and portfolio leaders, offering expert technology guidance throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Mentor junior staff to build PE deal process, technology value creation, and project delivery expertise.

Responsibilities Include

• Managing a high-volume pipeline of rapid IT due diligence projects for Private Equity clients, assessing acquisitions and utilizing AI tools to identify risks and value levers, delivering actionable reports.
• Developing post-close technology value creation roadmaps, leading platform modernization, cost reduction, and automation initiatives to enhance EBITDA.
• Leading IT integration and carve-out projects, establishing governance frameworks, tracking synergy realization, and reporting progress to stakeholders.
• Formulating go-to-market strategies focused on technology-driven value creation and acting as a thought leader on leveraging AI/ML for strategic advantage.
• Engaging in strategic discussions with PE deal teams, portfolio company leaders, and operating partners, providing expert advice on technology strategy throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Mentoring junior staff to foster expertise in PE deal processes, technology value creation, and project delivery.

Qualifications & Skills include

• Minimum of eight years of experience in technology roles, preferably in private equity-backed or high-growth tech companies, with consulting experience valuable.
• Advanced degrees such as an MBA or a Bachelor's in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Finance.
• Proven success in leading high-impact IT projects, leveraging AI tools to accelerate due diligence, and operating effectively in fast-paced PE environments.
• Deep understanding of enterprise IT ecosystems, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and AI/ML considerations.
• Strong relationship-building skills with PE deal teams and operating partners, and willingness to travel as needed.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
