Job summary

Mercer’s M&A Advisory Services team seeks an experienced Private Equity HR M&A Consultant to advise PE firms and portfolio companies through the acquisition and value-creation lifecycle. You will lead all aspects of human capital, build long-term client relationships, and collaborate with Marsh to deliver client solutions. The role offers hybrid work, professional growth, and cross-team collaboration within Mercer's advisory platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 10 years in Private Equity M&A HR, human capital, and employee benefits.
• Strong understanding of deal cycles, deal structures, value drivers in M&A.
• Proven client acquisition and relationship management across multi-level stakeholders.
• Experience supporting HR-related business transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Build and deepen long-term relationships with private equity firms and portfolio executives.
• Lead all areas of human capital for private equity clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Serve as Mercer–Marsh liaison for PE clients and portfolio companies.
• Identify and capture value-added opportunities during M&A engagements, including post-investment and exit prep.
• Collaborate with Mercer and Marsh leaders to deliver client solutions and support business development.
