Job summary

Santander Consumer USA Inc. is seeking a Private Debt Mobilization – Sales, Associate to develop and manage relationships with investors across private debt and syndicated loan markets in North America.

The role covers assigned accounts, supports distribution, and provides market intelligence to grow revenue. The Associate will coordinate with internal teams on transaction execution, pricing, and compliance, while traveling within the territory as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ Years Business Development, Product Specialist Management, or related experience.
• Demonstrated successful execution of syndicated loan transactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Ability to travel within assigned territory.
• Strong analytical / problem solving skills.
• Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Expert presentation and public speaking skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze industry trends, market data and transaction activity across the North America Structured Finance market.
• Cover and develop assigned bank and institutional investor accounts, building strong relationships and understanding clients' investment strategies and credit preferences.
• Support the preparation and review of transaction execution materials, including funds flow statements and funding memoranda.
• Market and distribute syndicated loans, private debt and other credit products, providing pricing and market perspectives.
• Identify primary and secondary market opportunities based on client mandates and investment appetite.
• Execute primary and secondary loan transactions, coordinating investor indications and commitments and partnering with internal stakeholders through settlement.
• Grow the investor and lender franchise by deepening relationships and developing new accounts.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver effective transaction execution and high-quality client experience.
• Support periodic mark-to-market valuation of transactions held on Santander's balance sheet.
