Job summary

Neuberger Berman is seeking a Private Markets Operations Analyst to support the Private Debt Investment team and other Alternatives. The role covers daily portfolio management support, fund administration, and treasury, with emphasis on data integrity, trade operations, and system enhancements.

Responsibilities include resolving breaks, overseeing trade booking/settlements, and coordinating with custodians and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years operations experience in private credit / bank loans / Direct Lending.
• Experience with structured debt and various credit products.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of formulas; Microsoft Visio, Outlook and Word.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve cash, trade, and position breaks for start of day readiness.
• Escalate aged open items (breaks, unsettled trades) to appropriate parties.
• Oversee trade process including trade booking, confirmation with brokers and loan settlement processes; Life Cycle event for Credit products
• Liaise between portfolio managers, finance, compliance and service providers for portfolio-specific activity and issues.
• Deal Closing/ Cash Management: coordinate Deals Fundings and Borrowing/Draw Downs
• Daily coordination between custodian, loan agents, and fund admins.
• Coordinate and assist with overseeing outsource providers and vendors across relevant functions
• High focus on implementing new systems or technology initiatives to drive efficiencies and reduce manual tasks
