Job summary

G MASS Consulting is seeking an Alternative Operations professional to support the lifecycle management of private debt and private equity investments within a growing alternatives platform. The role involves exposure to trade settlement, asset servicing, cash management and accounting processes for complex loan structures.

Qualifications

• Strong client-facing soft skills; able to take direction and own a workstream.
• Collaborative partner to a client team, not just an execution resource.
• Exposure to loans terminology or middle-office operations is helpful.
• Background in trade support, fund accounting, or middle-office within financial services is transferable.
• Direct AltOps experience not required if soft-skill and trainability are strong.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support timely settlement and day-to-day management of private debt and private equity investments.
• Involve across asset lifecycle activities: setup, settlement, reconciliations and cash controls.
• Assist with debt restructurings, amendments and refinancing events.
• Coordinate loan agency activity: drawdowns, repayments, interest calculations, covenant events.
• Review lifecycle accounting events: P&I, fees, expenses, capital calls, distributions.
• Partner with Front Office, Legal, Finance and custodians to build trust and scope.
