Job summary

Neuberger Berman is seeking a Private Markets Operations Analyst in New York City. This hybrid role supports the Private Debt Investment team and other alternatives, focusing on data integrity, trade ops, settlement, and fund admin.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years experience in private credit or related debt products, strong Excel skills, and a collaborative, organized approach. The role offers a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years operations experience in private credit/bank loans/direct lending.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Visio, Outlook and Word.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve cash, trade, and position breaks for start of day readiness.
• Escalate aged open items to appropriate parties.
• Oversee trade process including booking, confirmations, and loan settlement life cycle for credit products.
• Liaise between portfolio managers, finance, compliance and service providers to communicate critical activity.
• Coordinate deals funding and borrowing/draw downs; manage daily custodian and fund admin coordination.
• Oversee outsource providers and vendors; drive system enhancements and efficiencies.
