Job summary

G MASS seeks an Alternative Operations professional to support lifecycle management of private debt and private equity investments on a growing alternatives platform.

The role offers ownership within the function, exposure to trade settlement, asset servicing, cash management and accounting for complex loans and private market transactions. You will work with investment teams, fund administrators and external counterparties while developing process improvements and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services operations, especially mid-office, trade support or fund accounting is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, take direction, and own workstreams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support settlement and day-to-day operations for private debt and private equity investments.
• Assist with deal facilitation, settlement processing, income accounting and cash controls.
• Contribute to asset lifecycle activities including setup, confirmations, reconciliations and investigations.
• Coordinate loan agency activity: drawdowns, repayments, interest calculations and covenant events.
• Maintain lifecycle accounting events: P&I, fees, expenses, capital calls, distributions.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Legal, Finance and custodians to support client needs.
• Demonstrate reliable, client-facing behavior and ownership of live work.
• Leverage experience in loans terminology or middle-office to transfer skills effectively.
• Operate in a controlled, detail-oriented environment with strict timeliness.
• Manage multiple transactions and priorities in a fast-paced alternatives platform.
