Job summary

Santander US is seeking a senior Product Specialist - Private Debt Mobilization IC3 to lead origination, structuring, and distribution of complex syndicated loans and private debt financings across infrastructure, power, renewables, and energy sectors in the Americas.

You will manage senior sponsor relationships, coordinate with Structured Finance, Markets, and Credit Risk, and drive cross-sell opportunities while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline (Required).
• Master's Degree or related advanced degree (Preferred).
• 12+ years of relevant experience in loan syndications, project finance, or related fields (Required).
• Strong track record of originating and executing complex syndicated loans and project finance transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead origination of loan syndication, project finance, and structured financing mandates across Americas.
• Serve as senior relationship manager and primary client contact for sponsors, corporates, developers, and institutional clients.
• Develop and maintain a network of sponsors, institutional investors, banks, and distribution partners for successful syndication.
• Coordinate and lead client pitches, marketing materials, and strategy discussions for lead roles on transactions.
• Act as deal captain from origination through underwriting, closing, and distribution.
• Set and achieve annual revenue budgets and business metrics for the product area.
• Lead structuring of complex financings including project and acquisition finance.
• Negotiate term sheets, loan docs, engagement letters, and memoranda with cross-functional teams.
• Define and execute syndication/distribution strategy and market execution.
