Job summary

PRIME Recruitment Partners, LLP, on behalf of a private credit investment firm in Houston, seeks an Investment Associate to support underwriting and portfolio evaluation across direct lending opportunities.

You will build detailed three-statement models, assess capital structures, contribute to investment memoranda, and participate in due diligence and closing processes, reporting to senior investment professionals.

Qualifications

• 1.5–3 years of relevant investment experience in investment banking, private credit/direct lending, or a comparable credit-focused investment role.
• Strong financial modeling skills, particularly three-statement modeling, credit analysis, and underwriting.
• Demonstrated ties to Houston and a long-term interest in the market.

Our client is an established private credit investment firm specializing in direct lending to lower middle-market businesses across a broad range of industries. With over $10 billion invested across credit and equity transactions, the firm provides tailored financing solutions, primarily through senior secured and unitranche loans. They're looking to add multiple Investment Associates to their Houston team.

What the Firm is Looking For

• Strong academic background with a minimum 3.5 undergraduate GPA
• Demonstrated ties to Houston, TX, and a long-term interest in the market
• Pre-MBA candidates only; must be currently employed
