Job summary

Bluejack National is seeking a Host to warmly welcome members and guests, manage reservations, and coordinate seating across dining areas. You will collaborate with servers and management to ensure a smooth guest experience and uphold the club’s standards.

The role requires excellent communication, strong organization, and a friendly, professional presence in a fast-paced private club environment. Flexible scheduling includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-end golf/country club or hospitality is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Ability to work well independently with attention to quality and detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner upon arrival.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements to ensure efficient table flow and guest experience.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus while conveying relevant information to service staff.
• Coordinate with Servers and management to balance seating across dining rooms, patios, lounges, and events.
• Monitor dining room activity to anticipate seating needs and maintain smooth service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance, and waiting areas.
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiries with professionalism.
• Communicate guest preferences and important notes to Servers and management.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of reservations, guest counts, and table availability.
• Support setup and organization of dining areas prior to service and during events.
• Provide support to service staff to enhance guest experience.
• Follow club policies, sanitation standards, and safety guidelines.
• Address guest concerns promptly and escalate to management when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of club offerings, menus, and events to inform guests.
• Represent the club with professionalism and uphold appearance and grooming standards.
• Assist with major club events including guest check-in and seating coordination.
