Job summary

Travis Club in Spicewood, TX seeks an Events & Communications Coordinator to shape member experiences by planning events from concept through post-event review and crafting club-wide communications.

The role requires two years in events/hospitality and strong writing, editing and project management skills. You’ll manage budgets, vendors and timelines while contributing to a cohesive member experience.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in event planning, hospitality, member services, communications, or related field.
• Private-club or luxury-hospitality experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, event management, communications, marketing, business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage concurrent events, deadlines and priorities.
• Experience with email marketing, event registration, content creation and design platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; photography/video editing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop the member events and social programming calendar with Clubhouse Manager and propose original concepts.
• Research, book vendors, prepare event orders, budgets, timelines, layouts, staffing plans and contingencies.
• Coordinate internal teams and vendors; stay involved in onsite setup, execution and breakdown.
• Track registrations, expenses, invoices, feedback, and post‑event reports for evaluation.
• Write, design, proof and schedule invitations, newsletters, notices and club-wide emails.
• Maintain accurate event information across the website, app, calendar, registration platform, signage and menus.
