Job summary

Hideaway Golf Club in La Quinta, California, seeks an experienced Bartender to deliver an exceptional private club beverage experience for Members and Guests. You will create a welcoming atmosphere, maintain high standards of service, and support Club functions, banquets, and events with professionalism.

Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits, plus strong hospitality skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to responsible alcohol service and

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience required; private club, luxury hospitality, resort, or fine dining experience preferred.
• Current Riverside County Food Handler Card.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and special events.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Thorough knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and responsible alcohol service.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down bar area for service and events.
• Maintain a well-stocked bar with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, garnishes, glassware, and other items.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per recipes and standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of beverage offerings and make recommendations.
• Input beverage orders into POS and manage Member charges.
• Provide polished service and maintain a sanitary bar area.
