Job summary

Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, PA is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable and Member Billing Accountant to join our accounting team. This role emphasizes accurate member billing, accounts receivable and daily financial transactions, while delivering exceptional service to our membership.

You will work closely with the Accounting Department, Club Operations and Members in a fast-paced hospitality environment that values accuracy, professionalism, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in accounting or related field.
• Two or more years of accounts receivable, billing, or accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with Northstar Club Management software preferred.
• Experience in hospitality or private clubs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and resolve accounts receivable discrepancies with department managers.
• Process credit memos and account adjustments.
• Audit daily POS transactions and reconcile end-of-day activities.
• Prepare and distribute monthly member statements and banquet billings.
• Process member payments and reconcile cash, checks and electronic payments.
• Respond promptly to member billing questions and inquiries.
• Prepare aging reports and monitor past-due accounts.
• Reconcile accounts receivable to the general ledger.
• Assist with month-end close procedures impacting AR.
• Assist with annual dues billing.
• Process daily income journals and maintain accurate records.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Maintain documentation and filing of member billing records.
• Assist with other accounting projects as assigned.
