Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Tax Senior Manager in Private Client Services to provide tax compliance and advisory services to high net-worth clients. You will leverage education, experience, and leadership to manage engagements, plan tax strategies, and deliver exceptional client service.

You will supervise associates, review work, and contribute to business development and firm initiatives, while expanding your technical knowledge through current tax developments and client engagements.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years prior experience in accounting, finance, or law.
• Experience in the private client service area.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Experience working in public accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages tax and consulting engagements and addresses client needs, tax planning, and opportunities.
• Provides executive presence and acts as primary client contact for preparation and presentation of issues.
• Reviews complex tax returns for individuals, trusts, estates, S‑Corp, foundations, partnerships, gifts.
• Directs communication with government agencies on high-complexity matters.
• Conducts advanced tax research and develops recommendations for PCS leadership and clients.
