BDO USA, LLP’s Private Client Services is seeking a Tax Manager to lead high-net-worth client engagements, including estate, gift, and trust tax consulting. You will supervise staff, review returns, and coordinate with advisors.

Strong leadership, development, and business-building skills are essential to grow client relationships. You’ll leverage CPA/EA credentials and 5+ years in public accounting or private client services, with advanced MS Office and tax software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related; Master’s preferred.
• CPA/EA or equivalent required; public accounting experience preferred.
• Five+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience and client service.
• Proficient with MS Office and tax software tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage tax engagements and client relationships for PCS clients.
• Review diverse tax returns and provide staff feedback.
• Direct communication with government agencies on complex matters.
• Lead tax research and develop recommendations for leadership.
• Support billing, recruiting, and training activities.
• Develop client relationships and expand cross-service opportunities.
