Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Tax Manager in Private Client Services to lead tax engagements for high net‑worth individuals and families in our boutique practice. You will collaborate with clients and their advisors, prepare and review tax returns for individuals, trusts, estates, and sophisticated entities, and provide strategic tax planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; preferred in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Statistics
• Master's in Accountancy or Taxation preferred
• Five or more years of experience in accounting, finance, or law required
• CPA/EA/Attorney or equivalent credential required
• Proficiency with MS Office and tax software/tools preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage tax engagements and client relationships with high net-worth individuals
• Gather information to prepare tax returns for various entities
• Review returns for individuals, trusts, estates, S-Corps, foundations, partnerships
• Direct communications with government agencies on complex matters
• Conduct advanced tax research and provide recommendations to PCS leadership
• Develop client relationships and contribute to business development and training
