Job summary

Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is seeking a Client Service Associate for the Private Client Division in Stamford, CT or White Plains, NY. You will service clients, support meetings, manage databases, and assist with marketing efforts while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

The role requires 1–2 years in financial services, strong MS Office skills, and a proactive, client-focused approach to support advisors and staff.

Qualifications

1–2 years financial services experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Strong proficiency with MS Office and internal software.

Responsibilities

Learn and adapt to service the needs of various accounts to answer day-to-day questions from clients and advisors.
Quickly develop knowledge of forms and account procedures to assist clients.
Learn to utilize research and technical support tools.
Produce quality analytical reports using various software programs.
Promote Firm services by enhancing relationships with advisors through timely responses.
Interact professionally with all levels of staff and clients.
Cultivate and grow existing client relationships.
Assist with marketing efforts and plan client events.
Prioritize daily work, track progress and deadlines, answer phones, schedule appointments.
Demonstrate initiative to increase knowledge of rules and regulations.
