Job summary

Central Pacific Bank in Honolulu seeks a seasoned lender to manage a portfolio of high-value loan and deposit relationships, driving growth with sound risk management.

You will develop new business, maintain client financial profiles, and deliver expert financial advice while representing the Bank in the community.

5+ years in commercial lending, a related degree, and NMLS registration are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial lending and deposit gathering.
• Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) is required prior to performing duties of a Mortgage Loan Originator.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business in commercial and retail areas through an organized calling program and referrals, growing loan and deposit portfolios.
• Maintain high-value customer financial profiles and provide expert financial advice and service.
• Represent the Bank in community events and CRA qualifying activities.
• Assist team in achieving goals, attend sales meetings, and communicate results to improve strategies.
• Ensure loan portfolio quality, stay updated on bank policies, and achieve satisfactory audit ratings.
