Job summary

Peapack Private Bank & Trust is seeking a Preferred Banker in Lakewood, NJ to deliver exceptional client service and manage end-to-end client relationships. You will identify cross-sell opportunities and coordinate with multiple bank lines to ensure seamless product delivery.

The role emphasizes a_clients-first, one-team culture, with involvement in onboarding, compliance, and daily branch operations. Strong CRM, banking knowledge, and collaboration skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of client service or retail banking experience.
• Knowledge of banking products, services and branch operations.
• Ability to interact effectively with clients and internal partners.
• KYC/BSA/AML regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to clients and bank partners.
• Develop and manage consumer and business account relationships.
• Oversee client onboarding and ensure documentation compliance.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, IRAs and CDs.
• Assist with branch operations including audits and cash handling.
