Job summary

G2 is seeking a Privacy Manager and Data Protection Officer to implement and enforce its privacy strategy, policies, and initiatives. You will plan and deliver privacy training, manage compliance monitoring, and coordinate investigations and remediation for privacy events.

You will lead incident response, data mapping, DPIAs/PIAs, and vendor privacy assessments while staying current with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and related laws across global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Security, Privacy, Legal, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in privacy management and regulatory compliance.
• Thorough knowledge of international and domestic privacy laws and regulations.
• Strong understanding of data protection principles, risk assessment, and mitigation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's privacy program, policies, and procedures.
• Lead development of a comprehensive privacy strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Stay current with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other applicable laws.
• Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and conduct risk assessments.
• Establish data mapping and classification processes to protect sensitive data.
• Implement privacy by design across projects and processes.
• Conduct PIAs and DPIAs for new initiatives.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies for identified privacy risks.
• Maintain an incident response plan for privacy incidents and data breaches.
• Lead incident response and notifications as required by law.
• Deliver privacy training and raise awareness among employees.
• Oversee third-party vendor privacy assessments.
