Job summary

G2 is seeking a Privacy Manager and Data Protection Officer to implement and enforce our privacy strategy, policies, and initiatives across the organization. You will plan privacy training, oversee compliance monitoring, audits, and remediation, and coordinate responses to privacy incidents and inquiries.

You will lead data mapping, risk assessment, DPIAs, PIAs, and third-party vendor privacy assessments, while staying current with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Privacy, Legal, or a related field.
• 6+ years of privacy management and regulatory compliance experience.
• Thorough knowledge of international and domestic privacy laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain privacy program, policies, and procedures.
• Lead comprehensive privacy strategy aligned with the company's objectives.
• Stay current with GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and related laws.
• Ensure the organization's compliance and conduct risk assessments.
• Establish data mapping and classification processes to protect data.
• Implement privacy by design principles in projects and processes.
• Conduct PIAs and DP IAs for new projects, processes, and systems.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies for identified privacy risks.
• Develop and maintain an incident response plan for privacy incidents.
• Lead incident response efforts including investigation, containment, and reporting.
• Develop and deliver privacy training and awareness programs.
• Oversee third-party vendor privacy assessments.
