Job summary

Toyota Motor North America is seeking a Privacy Operations Consultant to lead enterprise-wide privacy governance and drive compliance across digital platforms. You will partner with Marketing Technology and cross-functional teams to implement consent mechanisms, cookie management, and data processing notices in line with GDPR, CCPA, and evolving laws.

You’ll report to the Privacy & Governance Senior Manager and build a global privacy network, monitor external regulatory changes, and translate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, IT or related field.
• 5+ years in privacy, compliance, or data protection roles with knowledge of GDPR/CCPA.
• Experience with cookie management and website tracking compliance.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Recommend solutions to categorize, manage, and ensure cookie and tracking compliance across digital platforms.
• Determine approaches for consumer consent mechanisms on websites to meet regulatory requirements.
• Drive updates to privacy notices across sites to reflect data processing practices and laws.
• Track third-party vs service provider contracts to meet privacy obligations.
