Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Privacy Governance Senior Manager to lead the privacy engineering function, manage a team, and advance consent management and cookie governance. You'll collaborate with Legal, Data Strategy, Engineering, and Product to implement privacy by design across the development lifecycle.

The role focuses on scalable onboarding of brands, acquisitions, and enterprise privacy standards, with hybrid work options and a 5% travel expectation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8+ years of experience (or equivalent).
• Experience operating within or leading a privacy compliance program.
• Working knowledge of U.S. state privacy regulations.
• Experience with consent management platforms, cookie governance, and web tracking compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of privacy engineers across CMP operations, cookie scanning, and privacy library maintenance.
• Provide architectural guidance and maintain technical depth within the privacy engineering function.
• Oversee privacy technology stack and integration of privacy tech into enterprise systems.
• Drive onboarding for brands and acquisitions into Cox Automotive’s privacy program.
