Job summary

Buckle is seeking a Senior Privacy and Compliance Leader to translate evolving privacy regulations into practical policies and product requirements across Legal, Information Security, IT, and Data teams. The role owns the privacy compliance roadmap and embeds privacy by design into products, processes, and the SDLC, overseeing data mapping, consent management, DSR fulfillment, and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of privacy, data protection, regulatory compliance, risk management, information security, or program management.
• 2+ years leading cross-functional compliance projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including presenting risk topics to executive audiences.
• Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential, privileged, and sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise data compliance program strategy and multi-year roadmap, aligning priorities with regulatory requirements and business initiatives.
• Prepare program status, metrics, and risk reports for executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Coordinate audits, regulatory inquiries, and data incident response; manage evidence collection and remediation tracking.
• Design and maintain testable privacy controls integrated with enterprise risk management and SOX IT controls.
• Lead privacy impact assessments for new products, vendors, and technologies, including AI and analytics.
