Job summary

Cornerstone Research seeks a Senior Manager, Compliance and Privacy to drive the firm’s privacy program and shape policy development firmwide. You will partner with Legal and HR, lead firmwide training, and proactively identify regulatory and reputational risks across the organization.

You will oversee the expert disclosure process, ensure reviews are completed before retention, and support case teams, leadership, and outside counsel on compliance and privacy matters with a hybrid work

Qualifications

• 10+ years of directly related experience.
• Familiarity with litigation and expert discovery disclosures preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of compliance and privacy laws and governance best practices.
• Excellent reporting and recordkeeping abilities.
• Strong ethics and professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement firm-wide compliance policies and procedures.
• Draft, modify and monitor policies related to compliance and privacy.
• Own and refine the expert disclosure checklist process for engagements.
• Coordinate conflict-of-interest screening for prospective experts.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR and IT to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations.
• Contribute to budget development for compliance initiatives.
• Provide training content on compliance topics including privacy and data security.
