Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a senior privacy and data protection professional to lead the enterprise privacy compliance program.

You will translate evolving privacy regulations into practical policies, product requirements, and operational controls to drive compliant, auditable data practices across the organization. You will own data mapping, consent management, DSR fulfillment, and risk assessments while coordinating audits and regulatory inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, information management, compliance, public policy, information security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Seven or more years of experience in privacy, data protection, regulatory compliance, risk management, information security, or program management, including at least two years leading cross-functional compliance projects, programs, or initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex risk topics clearly to executive audiences.
• Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential, privileged, and sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise data compliance program strategy and multi-year roadmap, aligning with regulatory requirements and business initiatives.
• Coordinate audits, regulatory inquiries, and data incident response; manage evidence collection and remediation tracking.
• Lead privacy impact assessments for new products and vendor data practices; oversee DSR fulfillment and consent management.
• Embed privacy by design into SDLC and partner with IT and Data teams on privacy tooling and automation.
