What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct initial screening, investigation, and triaging of assigned privacy matters, including data breaches and unauthorized access incidents
- Perform thorough investigations, including data analysis, interviews, and summarization of findings in report form
- Support compliance with federal and state privacy regulations and reporting requirements
- Maintain updates in the incident management system and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide privacy training and assist departments in implementing corrective actions as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, or a relevant field
- Minimum of three years of healthcare privacy experience
- Certified Information Privacy Professional certification
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification in healthcare privacy (CHPC) or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) obtained within the first year
