Job summary

SERVPRO® Team Cuthbertson is seeking a Priority Responder in Knoxville, TN to be the first line of contact with residential customers and lead them through mitigation and restoration steps. You will manage scopes, estimates, and on-site preparation while upholding SERVPRO’s response guidelines for rapid service delivery.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and the ability to handle on-call emergencies 24/7/365, with full-time hours Monday to Friday and occasional long hours,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Sales experience in high-transaction environments.
• Experience with mitigation, cleaning, restoration, or construction services is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft product suite, CRM, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and achieve proficiency in specialized software.
• Full-time, Mon–Fri with potential long hours, weekends and holidays.
• Must be available 24/7/365 for emergencies when on-call.
• Background check, drug screen, and driving record required.

• Create an accurate sketch and scope with labor, materials, and time requirements.
• Maintain organized records and clear communication for hand-offs to Production teams.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and perform follow-up calls.
• Prioritize safety, risk management, and professionalism on site.

Join SERVPRO® Team Cuthbertson as a Priority Responder, where you'll be first point of contact, establishing the initial relationship, and educating the customer on mitigation and restoration processes and procedures.

In this role, you will respond urgently to residential leads with the goal of signing the job for Team Cuthbertson. You will rigorously uphold the SERVPRO® 1-4-8 service response guidelines by responding to the customer to arrange service within 1 hour, arrive on-site to start the scope and estimate within 4 hours, and provide a verbal briefing to the customer or insurance adjuster detailing the scope of work and next steps within 8 hours.

We will provide all the training and support you need to restore property and peace of mind to our customers and provide value to our clients. We need an organized and detail-oriented individual who excels in communication and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Document the loss and write the scope of work / estimate that meets all restoration standards and requirements.
• Create an accurate sketch and scope of work, with labor, material, and time requirements for the project.
• Maintain organized records and clear communication to ensure clean hand-off and communication with Production teams.
• Monitor customer satisfaction by reviewing customer satisfaction forms and conducting follow-up phone calls.
• Prioritize safety, risk management, and professionalism at all times, ensuring job site safety for customers and employees.

Qualifications

• Experience with mitigation, cleaning, restoration, or construction services is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with technology (Microsoft product suite, CRM, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to learn and achieve proficiency in a variety of specialized software programs needed for the position.
• This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday and will regularly involve long hours, weekend, and holiday work.
• Due to the nature of the job, the employee must be available on a 24/7/365 basis to respond to emergency situations when on-call shifts are assigned.
• Must successfully complete a background check, drug screen, and clean driving record; subject to applicable law.
