Job summary

University of Wisconsin—Madison's Digital Publishing and Printing Services (DPPS) is seeking a customer service representative to join the in-house print facility. You will combine print production know-how with strong service skills to support the UW campus and beyond, in a large state-government print operation.

This on-site role at 2109 S. Stoughton Road, Madison, WI offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within DPPS and the DoIT division, including scheduling

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service in a printing environment.
• Knowledge of digital printing and print bindery functions.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to organize workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production schedules and track print job progress.
• Serve as initial contact for inquiries about printing services.
• Answer incoming department phone calls.
• Process print orders from an online queue.
• Prepare written correspondence to clients, vendors, and units.
• Review orders for funding information and enter billing.
• Maintain detailed print records and related files.
