Job summary

Indiana Printing and Publishing seeks a Sales & Customer Service Representative to manage customer relationships and support house accounts through printing projects from inquiry to delivery.

You will respond to calls and emails, gather job specs, enter orders, and coordinate with estimating, prepress, production, mailing, shipping, and accounting. This role emphasizes developing new business and maintaining accurate records while meeting revenue and service targets.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of customer service, account management, inside sales, or related experience.
• Experience in commercial printing, publishing, mailing, or manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• PrintSmith Vision or similar print-management software is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of estimating, paper, finishing, mailing, prepress, and printing production is beneficial.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customers, orders, and deadlines.
• Comfortable making outbound sales calls and developing new business.
• Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, CRM, and order-entry systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer calls, emails, quote requests, and order questions.
• Gather complete job specifications including quantity, paper, color, finishing, mailing, delivery, and deadlines.
• Enter accurate estimates, orders, customer information, and job instructions.
• Coordinate with estimating, prepress, production, mailing, shipping, and accounting.
• Communicate proofs, approvals, schedules, changes, and delivery information.
• Manage assigned and house accounts while identifying additional sales opportunities.
• Contact prospective customers and help develop new business.
• Follow up on open estimates and maintain accurate sales and customer records.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
• Meet expectations for responsiveness, accuracy, sales growth, customer retention, and profitability.
