Job summary

Indiana Printing & Publishing is seeking a Sales & Customer Service Representative to manage customer relationships, support assigned and house accounts, and coordinate printing projects from inquiry to delivery.

You will respond to inquiries, gather specifications, prepare estimates, and collaborate with estimating, prepress, production, mailing, shipping, and accounting to ensure on-time, on-budget service. This is a full-time, on-site role with regular business hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of customer service, account management, inside sales, or related experience required.
• Previous commercial printing, publishing, mailing, or manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with PrintSmith Vision or similar print-management software is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of estimating, paper, finishing, mailing, prepress, and printing production is beneficial.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customers, orders, and deadlines.
• Comfortable making outbound sales calls and developing new business.
• Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, CRM, and order-entry systems.
• Starting compensation is $21.00 and will be based on relevant experience. Candidates withcommercial printing experience, PrintSmith proficiency, an established salesrecord, or an existing customer base may qualify for a higher starting rate.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer calls, emails, quote requests, and order questions.
• Gather complete job specifications, including quantity, paper, color, finishing, mailing, delivery, and deadlines.
• Enter accurate estimates, orders, customer information, and job instructions.
• Coordinate with estimating, prepress, production, mailing, shipping, and accounting.
• Communicate proofs, approvals, schedules, changes, and delivery information.
• Manage assigned and house accounts while identifying additional sales opportunities.
• Contact prospective customers and help develop new business.
• Follow up on open estimates and maintain accurate sales and customer records.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalation issues when necessary.
• Meet expectations for responsiveness, accuracy, sales growth, customer retention, and profitability.
