The California Department of General Services’ Printing Plant in the Digital Print and Mailing Services unit seeks a Scheduler to perform the full range of printing planning functions, develop methods and layouts, and advise on services that meet client needs and OSP capabilities.
The role may require travel and is a permanent, full-time, in-office position with standard 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM hours. Orientation toward ethics, integrity, and stewardship guides daily work within DGS.

Under general direction of the Printing Plant Superintendent in the Digital Print and Mailing Services unit, the Scheduler performs the full range of printing planning functions, works with production staff to develop printing methods, layouts, and work processes, and provides consultations and recommendations on the full range of services that meets the client's specific printing needs and Office of State Printing (OSP) capabilities. The performance of the duties will be accomplished in accordance with the guidelines of the DGS, OSP operations manual directives of Government Code, California Code of Regulations, and State Administrative Manual.
This position may require travel.
