Job Description And Duties

Under the general direction of the Branch Chief, Material Distribution and Systems, a Supervisor I, the incumbent serves as a contract manager and is responsible for the development and administration of both IT and non-IT contracts relating to the Caltrans HQ Warehouse. The incumbent is responsible for managing the MOMS portfolio of contracts, which includes but is not limited to Infor Public Sector, Oracle Business Intelligence (BI), Whatfix, and Infor Support agreements, and acts as a back-up for facility service agreements and statewide inventory management. The incumbent is the main focal point between the branches within the Division and is responsible for the coordination and facilitation of meetings between the HQ Warehouse, Divisions within the Department, and external stakeholders relating to the HQ Warehouse. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for high level reporting for the Office and must have a strong knowledge and advanced expertise with data reporting tools such as but not limited to Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI), Power BI, Tableau, and have the ability to simplify and interpret data and automate reports. The successful candidate must be highly self-sufficient and must adhere to ethical practices and policies, ensure best value for the State, and demonstrate a positive attitude and a commitment to providing quality service that is accurate, timely, and exceeds customers’ expectations.
