Job Description And Duties
Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the incumbent provides technical expertise in a wide variety of recruiting/personnel services for the Division of Construction. The incumbent applies various methods to recruit candidates for vacant positions and works closely with hiring supervisors to initiate the hiring process, obtain approvals, process paperwork, select candidates, and make job offers to complete the hire. The incumbent works with the Division of Human Resources (DHR) to handle personnel matters for the Construction Division; and performs a wide variety of analytical services. Oversees the Transportation Engineer (TE) Rotation Program as a member of the TE Rotation Committee. The incumbent will be assigned work based on Divisional and/or Departmental needs and could be assigned to any office within District 8, which includes San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. Possession of a valid driver's license is required when operating a State owned or leased vehicle.
