Staff Perm is seeking a Printing Equipment Maintenance Technician to support the 3rd shift in Lenexa, KS. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing sheetfed offset presses and related packaging machinery to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities include mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, parts replacement, and using schematics to guide repairs on high-speed equipment. Must have a strong work ethic and ability to read technical documentation.

This position involves maintaining and repairing a variety of printing and packaging machinery, including sheetfed offset presses and related equipment. The role requires mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills to support high-speed production during the Sunday to Thursday night shift.

• LOCATION: Lenexa, KS 66219
• POSITION: Right to Hire
• SCHEDULE: 3rd Shift - Sunday-Thursday 10:30pm-6:30am
• PAY RATE: $25/hr +$1/hr shift differential

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electromechanical printing equipment.
• Disassemble machines, replace parts, adjust components, and ensure equipment meets operational standards.
• Use diagrams, schematics, manuals, and engineering specifications to guide repairs.
• Clean and lubricate moving parts, order replacement parts, and confirm repair quality.
• Assist in resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues on the production floor.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 18 years of age or older.
• At least 3 years of experience in machine maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge of complex equipment.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as digital multimeter, clamp meter, continuity tester, non-contact voltage tester, and logic probe.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Basic electrical and electronic repair knowledge.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow technical documents.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with sheetfed offset printing presses.
• Experience with high-speed manufacturing, print, bindery, inserting, packaging, or fulfillment equipment.

Work Environment

• 3rd Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 10:30pm to 6:30am.
• Location: Lenexa, KS 66219.
