Job summary

Staff Perm is seeking a Printing Machine Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift in Lenexa, KS. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing high-speed printing and packaging machinery, ensuring safe operation and compliance with manufacturing specifications.

The successful candidate will apply mechanical and electrical knowledge to troubleshoot, disassemble and replace worn parts, and interpret diagrams and manuals to meet production requirements on the 10:30pm–6:30am schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of machine maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical understanding of complex equipment.
• Experience with diagnostic tools such as multimeters and testers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a wide range of mechanical and electromechanical printing equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Disassemble machines, replace worn or broken parts, adjust mechanical components, and restore equipment to operational standards.
• Interpret diagrams, schematics, manuals, and engineering specifications to ensure repairs meet production requirements.
• Clean and lubricate moving parts, order replacement components, and verify that repairs meet operational tolerances.
• Adapt tools, materials, and procedures to resolve complex mechanical or electrical problems across the production floor.
