The University of Michigan’s Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning seeks a Printing and Instructional Support Supervisor to join our business operations/information technology team in Ann Arbor. Note: This job is situated in Ann Arbor and daily on-campus work is required. The anticipated schedule for this position is daytime hours Monday through Friday (exact schedule to be determined with the operations manager).
The Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning is seeking a printing and instructional support supervisor to join our business operations/information technology team. Reporting to the operations manager, you will deliver a range of printing and plotting services (from self-service to full-service), specifically tailored to the needs of architectural design and education, but also for other disciplines in the college and across campus. We ask that you understand small-/large-format printing and plotting techniques and be able to troubleshoot and advise on file repairs to achieve final printed documents. In addition to printing, you will help understand faculty teaching and student learning needs and provide support through acquisition of instructional materials and supplies. You will also manage one full-time employee and student and temporary workers who are a shared resource between printing and cashiering. The work of this role is likely to evolve over time to meet the instructional support needs of the college.
The work requires, or the supervisor approves a fully onsite presence. Onsite is defined as a designated U-M owned or leased work location within or outside of the State of Michigan.
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $63,000. Factors used to determine salary include experience, knowledge and skills for the position. You are encouraged to discuss salary questions to honor transparency throughout the recruiting process.
