Job summary

The University of Michigan’s Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning seeks a Printing and Instructional Support Supervisor to join our business operations/information technology team in Ann Arbor. You will deliver a range of printing and plotting services tailored to architectural design and education, troubleshoot files, and manage instructional materials.

You will supervise one full-time employee plus student and temporary workers, support faculty and students with file preparation,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in printing-related positions.
• 3+ years of experience in large-format printing and plotting.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D modeling programs.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot small- and large-format printers, plotters, and related equipment; ensure quality output.
• Set up, monitor, and upgrade a self-service system for students and faculty.
• Produce high-quality prints including architectural plans, elevations, sections, and 3D renders; manage print queue.
