Job summary

SATO America LLC seeks a detail-oriented Field Service Technician to install, maintain, repair, and train customers on our equipment. The role requires planning and prioritizing service requests with urgency, often performing off-site repairs within a 250-mile radius and coordinating with Product Support.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 5 years related electro-mechanical experience or equivalent military experience with 2+ years’ experience.
• Experience with utilizing digital multimeter and hand tools.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of printers and related equipment.
• Provide customer training and service, and manage field inventory of spare parts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Travel locally and overnight as required.
• Complete reporting and proper paperwork for parts and service requests.
