Job summary

Amcor in Jackson, TN, is seeking an on-site Production Operator to support 12-hour shifts. You will set up, operate, and monitor printers and baggers, ensuring maximum throughput with minimum downtime while adhering to customer specs and quality standards.

The role requires physical mobility, ability to lift up to 35 lbs, and a commitment to safety and GMP practices. You will work with a team to maintain a clean, compliant production environment and report any issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Capable of physical mobility including lifting up to 35 lbs repeatedly.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Adheres to safety requirements and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Report to front line leadership.
• Communicate between shifts to anticipate production concerns.
• Set up, operate & monitor printers and/or baggers for daily operations.
• Safely operate equipment to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.
• Run to standard while meeting customer specs and quality levels.
• Report non-conformances to leadership.
• Load/reload hoppers to maintain continuous operation.
• Document and report substandard production.
• Make ink adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance, housekeeping and cleaning.
• Assist teammates as needed.
• Uphold safety absolutes and GMP compliance.
• Follow ISO standards, SOPs and work instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.
