Job summary

Amcor Limited is seeking a production operator to monitor and operate packaging printers/baggers during assigned 12‑hour shifts. You will ensure throughput meets standards, follow SOPs, and maintain safety and quality across operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, communicating with shifts, documenting issues, and supporting continuous improvement while adhering to Amcor’s safety and GMP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting.
• Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Capable of lifting up to 35lbs repeatedly.
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE.
• Capable of maintaining an attendance record within Company guidelines and working required overtime.
• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Work in a safe manner

Responsibilities

• Report to front line leadership.
• Communicate between shifts to anticipate & prepare for production concerns.
• Set up, operate & monitor printers and/or baggers for daily operations.
• Safely operate equipment to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.
• Run to standard while complying with customer specifications and quality levels.
• Document and report substandard production and quarantined material if needed.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
• Uphold GMP and safety standards and follow established procedures.
• Support teammates and contribute to a safe work environment.
