Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a production operator for a 12-hour shift in Jackson, TN. You will set up, operate, and monitor printers and baggers, ensuring maximum throughput and minimal downtime while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include shift communication, documenting issues, and performing routine maintenance. The role requires physical mobility, English proficiency, and compliance with PPE and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting.
• Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Capable of lifting up to 35lbs repeatedly.
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Report to front line leadership.
• Communicate between shifts to anticipate production concerns.
• Set up, operate & monitor printers and/or baggers for daily operations.
• Safely operate equipment to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.
• Run to standard while meeting customer specifications and quality levels.
• Load/reload hoppers to maintain continuous operation.
• Document and report substandard production.
• Make necessary ink adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance, housekeeping and cleaning.
• Assist teammates as needed.
• Uphold Safety Absolutes and GMP guidelines.
• Follow ISO standards, SOPs and work instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.
