Job summary

Amcor is hiring for a manufacturing operator in Jackson, TN. The role involves reporting to front line leadership and coordinating between shifts to address production concerns.

You will set up, operate, and monitor printers or baggers to maintain throughput and quality, while following ISO standards and safety procedures. Responsibilities include inspecting products, adjusting ink as needed, and performing routine maintenance and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting.
• Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Capable of lifting up to 35lbs repeatedly.
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to bump cap or hard hat, safety eyewear, safety shoes, hearing protection and disposable mask.

Responsibilities

• Report to front line leadership.
• Communicate between shifts to anticipate and prepare for production concerns.
• Set up, operate and monitor printers or baggers for daily operations.
• Safely operate equipment to maximize product throughput and minimize downtime.
• Run to standard while complying with customer specifications and quality levels.
• Report non-conformances to front line leadership.
