Job summary

The Gordon Flesch Company is looking for a field service technician to service printers and multi-functional devices. You will complete technical training at company locations and manufacturer facilities, develop independence, and help solve connectivity issues.

Starting pay is $23.51 to $27.00 per hour, with medical, dental, time off, 401(k) match, and wellness benefits. A high school diploma, strong communication, and a valid driver's license with vehicle access are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient use of company-provided technology such as laptops and apps.
• Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks as required.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and appropriate auto insurance as dictated by state requirements.
• Access to reliable vehicle with secure storage for all company issued property.

Responsibilities

• Complete technical training as assigned both at GFC locations and at manufacturer's facilities.
• Develop ability to work independently.
• Primarily service printers and multi-functional devices.
• Become proficient in servicing assigned equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic connectivity issues (print/scan).
• Update and maintain machine firmware as needed.
• Assist in software installations and support.
• Efficiently manage service call assignments based on location and priority levels.
• Accurately dispatch/arrive/close out service calls utilizing mobile dispatching software.
• Provide quality customer service with both internal/external customers.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
