Job summary

The Gordon Flesch Company is hiring a service technician to join a high‑performing team and provide on-site support for printers and multi‑functional devices across multiple states. You will receive comprehensive training and will be expected to develop independence while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting connectivity, updating firmware, supporting software installations, and efficiently managing service calls with a focus on safety and quality

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrates strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficient with company-provided technology (laptops, smartphones, software).
• Must pass drug screenings and background checks as required.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and have valid driver's license with appropriate auto insurance.
• Access to a reliable vehicle for company property storage and travel.

Responsibilities

• Complete technical training at GFC locations and manufacturer facilities.
• Primarily service printers and multi-functional devices; become proficient in servicing equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic connectivity issues (print/scan) and update firmware as needed.
• Assist in software installations and support; manage service call assignments by location and priority.
• Dispatch/arrive/close out service calls using mobile dispatch software; provide quality customer service.
