Job summary

Compunnel Inc. is seeking a Printer Support Technician to provide daily network and workstation printer support, respond to customer requests, and escalate when needed. The role emphasizes professional communication and accurate problem resolution.

You will manage on-site hardware inventories, procure printers, document issues in TRAC, and collaborate with the Printer Fleet Manager to keep fleets running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• HP Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Daily support of network and workstation printers.
• Respond to customer support requests and resolve promptly.
• Escalate problems to a technician as necessary.
• Keep the customer updated on problem resolution.
• Provide end users with remote access knowledge and troubleshooting documentation.
• Provide regular updates to the Printer Fleet Manager or Integrated Account Manager.
• Manage on-site hardware and consumables inventory.
• Procure printers as required by the customer.
• Manage printer hot swap inventory.
• Document and report all fleet meter reads.
• Maintain printer fleet tools/databases.
• Printer triage break/fix.
• Delivery of toner.
• Assist with print projects in the copy center.
• Occasionally lift/move printers during installs/moves.
• Document all service calls and requests using TRAC Solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily support of network and workstation printers
• Respond to customer support requests and ensure they are resolved quickly, accurately, and professionally
• Escalate problems to a technician as necessary
• Keep the customer up to date on the progress of problem resolution
• Provide end users with detailed remote access knowledge and document complete troubleshooting information
• Provide regular account updates, including information on fleet status and performance, to the Printer Fleet Manager or Integrated Account Manager
• Manage on-site hardware and consumables inventory
• Procure printers as required by the customer
• Manage printer hot swap inventory
• Document and report all fleet meter reads
• Maintain printer fleet tools/databases
• Printer triage break/fix
